Murray State College announces newly elected 2025-2026 Student Government Association officers.
Caden Coombs, a gunsmithing technology major, has been elected president of the Murray State College Student Government Association for the 2025-2026 term.
“In the words of Coach John Wooden: Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become what you are capable of becoming,” Coombs said. “As Student Government President, my goal is to make our campus the best it can be in every aspect—from school spirit and sporting events to academics and student life.”
Coombs aims to utilize his role to create a positive impact, ensuring that when he moves on, the next leader has a strong foundation to build upon.
2025-2026 Murray State College SGA Leaders:
President: Caden Coombs is majoring in gunsmithing technology and is a member of the Gunsmithing Club and Murray State’s Baptist College Ministry (BCM).
Vice President: Lance Thompson, a science major, is involved with BCM and the Academic Team.
Ardmore Vice President: Teihera Beo is in Murray State’s nursing program and the President's Leadership Academy.
Secretary: Drew-Ann White is an elementary education major. She plays on Murray State’s nationally ranked softball team.
Treasurer: Andrew Wollenberg, a health science major, is involved in NICHE and Aggies Abroad. He is also a member of the college’s bass fishing team and the national champion shotgun team.
Media Relations Coordinator: Alanna Routt is an education and criminal justice major and plays on Murray State’s nationally ranked softball team.
Online Representative: Olivia Alexander, an elementary education major, is involved with Murray State’s FCA leadership team. She is also an Aggie Ambassador.
Alexander, Coombs and White are also members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
“These students exemplify leadership, service and a deep commitment to their fellow students,” said Dr. Tim Faltyn, Murray State College President. “Their dedication to making Murray State a better place reflects the spirit of collaboration and excellence that defines our institution.
