Murray State College is proud to announce that two members of the Aggie Bass Fishing Team, Jackson Roumbanis and Gabe Morrow, are set to compete on the international stage at the Tri Nations Bass Tournament at Loskop Dam in South Africa.
Roumbanis and Morrow will have the honor of representing Team USA, competing against elite anglers from across the globe. The Tri-Nations is recognized as one of the largest international youth bass tournaments in the world, bringing together teams from multiple countries in a true championship-style format.
“These young men have the opportunity of a lifetime getting to fish on the international level at their age,” said John Owen, Murray State College Bass Fishing Team Coach. “They will get to make lifelong memories while representing Murray State College.”
The four-day tournament will also be televised, showcasing the action as Roumbanis and Morrow compete for a gold medal against 30 of the top youth anglers from around the world. For both competitors, it represents not only a chance to test their skills internationally but also an opportunity to highlight Murray State College's growing presence in competitive bass fishing.
