Brooklyn

Of Marlow, OK

Majoring in Criminal Justice

Women's Soccer Team

I chose Murray State College because of the tight knit community we have. Everyone knows each other and you can literally walk to your classes within 10 minutes of leaving your dorm room. Every single faculty member that I have met here is extremely nice and truly wants you to be here!

Advice for future students: "Take notes and always ask your teacher for help. They will help you in any way they can."

Leads Tours: Tuesdays at noon

Emma

Of Ada, OK

Majoring in Nursing

I chose Murray State College because it has a home-like feel. When you walk around campus you always see a familure face.

Advice for future students: "Don't be afraid of putting yourself out there! Getting to know the people around you will make the best connections!"

Leads Tours: Monday afternoons

Paxton

Of Achille, OK

Majoring in Psychology

Collegiate FFA, SGA Freshman Representative, MSC Peer Tutor

I chose Murray State College because it feels like home! Coming from a small school the smaller class sizes and fact that my professors know my name was a huge deal for me. MSC has an extremely friendly atmosphere. I love walking around campus seeing old and meeting new friends!

Advice for future students: "Don't get lost in the hustle and bustle of senior year and stress of picking a college. Just pick a college that fits you, not your friends, but you and your dreams. Once you get to college, step out of your comfort zone, meet new people and don't forget to study!"

Leads Tours: Thursday Mornings

Shelby

Of Coalgate, OK

Majoring in Agriculture - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pre-Vet Option

I chose Murray State College because of the programs they offer, the smaller class size and the opportunities for furthering my education they provide. I found that MSC is very welcoming and everyone is supportive of each other. The instructors are always willing to help in any way they can and even classmates are willing to help others. From the classroom to the campus environment, MSC is fun and positive!

Advice for future students: "Life is too short to stress about the little things! Don't worry about the past or the future! The future depends on what you do today, so live in the moment, go to class, finish that assignment, and enjoy each moment. Never be afraid to ask for help because someone will help, you just have to ask."

Leads Tours: Wednesday afternoons
