With Murray State College on remote operation and closed to the public, the decision has been made to take this year's commencement and awards ceremonies online.  The college will celebrate virtually with graduates and award winners by producing individual web pages to highlight specific achievements.  All pages will feature content from Murray State, but will focus on the personal and academic side of what has been accomplished by each student.

Anyone with a link to the submission site will be able to send messages to graduates and award winners and upload photos to the students' webpages.  The address for web pages is msc2020.cloudcommencement.com.

"Not being able to celebrate our graduates and award winners in person this year has everyone feeling downhearted and disappointed.  We considered all options, but in view of safety concerns and health considerations, a virtual commencement offers the best opportunity to recognize students' accomplishments in a safe environment," said MSC President Joy McDaniel.

"We're inviting everyone to join us in congratulating students by taking a few minutes to sign in and send best wishes.  We may be meeting online, but we're going to finish the year together.  We're no less excited, no less proud of each and every student who will graduate from Murray this year.  They have worked hard, they have met their goals and we celebrate with each one," added McDaniel.
