Murray State College has hired Katie Carroll to serve as its outreach and recruitment coordinator.  She will serve as part of the college’s outreach staff which is housed in MSC’s new Welcome Center on the north end of campus.

Carroll, a Tishomingo native and Murray State College alumnae, graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and in 2018 from Murray State College with an Associate of Applied Science in Business.  As both a high school and college student, Carroll was active in 4-H, FFA, FCLA and was an active member of Phi Beta Lambda and the President's Scholars Program at Murray State. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at Murray State and has already begun recruiting new students.

"What better way to begin the fall semester than by welcoming alumnae Katie Carroll as a new recruitment coordinator.  She has lots of enthusiasm and will be making appointments to visit with school counselors and students in our service area soon.  We're so glad to have her back at Murray State," said MSC President Joy McDaniel.
