MSC Women’s & Men’s Soccer teams face EOSC on road before hosting Rose State at home Sept. 16
September 13, 2021
After suffering a tough home loss to nationally-ranked Seminole State College on Sunday, September 12, MSC’s women’s soccer team will travel to Wilburton Tuesday to face Eastern Oklahoma State College. Yesterday’s loss evened the Aggies record at two wins and two losses early in the season. MSC is looking to build on past success versus the Lady Mountaineers, having only lost one game in the past eight match-ups with EOSC, a one-goal loss the last time the two teams met.
The Murray State College men’s soccer team will also take on Eastern Oklahoma State College on the road on September 14. The match-up will be the Aggies first game since opening the season with a four-goal victory over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on August 22. The Aggies, who return several core members from last year’s team, are facing a Mountaineer team who they outscored 12-goals-to-two the last two times the teams met last season.
Both Aggie teams return home Thursday, September 16 to take on regional rivals Rose State College. The Raiders and Lady Raiders come into the game with winning records and looking to defend their regional titles from last year. The Lady Aggies’ game starts at 2 p.m. followed by the Aggie Men at 4 p.m., both at the MSC Soccer field.
