MSC students and staff attend annual Higher Education Day at State Capitol

Student leaders and staff from Murray State College were at the capitol on February 11 to participate in the annual event which provides an opportunity for college students and staff to meet and interact with elected officials. Participants attending this year’s event included MSC student leaders, McDaniel, Dean of Instruction Ginger Cothran, President’s Scholars Program advisor Aaron Beshears, Director of Student Life Bailey McCollum, and Johnston County Chamber Director Jordyn Frazier. The group discussed a variety of topics and talked with legislators about the continuing need to increase funding for higher education.
