MSC President’s Scholars Program to hold Facebook Auction Fundraiser November 10

October 26, 2020

The annual fundraising efforts by the Murray State College President’s Scholars Program will look different this year, but the goal is still the same, assisting the needs of families in the local community during the holidays and offsetting costs of PSP cultural education and study abroad trips.

Traditionally, PSP holds an annual PSP BINGO fundraiser at the Johnson County Fair Barn, but due to COVID-19, and in the best interest and safety of everyone, they have decided to have a Facebook auction instead. The auction will take place on November 10, 2020 on the PSP Facebook page. The auction will include items donated by local businesses. A complete list of items up for auction will be posted on the PSP Facebook page prior to the event. Those interested in the auction can follow MSC PSP by searching for @PSPMSC on Facebook or directly at www.facebook.com/PSPMSC.

Auction winners will be able to schedule a pickup time for their items, arrange to have a PSP student deliver items to them, or request that items be shipped to them for an additional fee.

This year, the funds raised will go to care for an Angel Tree donation and assisting a family in the community who is in need this Christmas. Funds remaining will go to support PSP students and their upcoming cultural education study abroad trips.
