Regent Gary Greene, Ph.D.

Regent Greene attended Southwestern State College for a bachelor's degree in natural science education; a master's degree in economics from University of Missouri; and his doctorate in education and economics from Oklahoma State University.

He is a Vietnam veteran, having served in the 32nd Army Air. Greene is orginally from Beckham County, Oklahoma, but now makes his home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and is the owner of Round Rock Ranch.

Greene retired after 22 years with most of his career in higher education, while employeed at Oklahoma State University, Kansas State University and The University of Oklahoma. He has published more than 40 articles in national and regional research journals.

He is a board member of the Oklahoma Independent Stock Growers Association.

Greene was appointed by Governor Stitt in 2020.
