Health, Wellness, & Human Performance
The Associate in Science Degree in Health, Wellness and Human Performance offers courses designed to provide the basic prerequisite courses needed to prepare for further study in the field. The courses assist students in the development of physical skills and provide instruction to promote overall personal health and wellness. Career opportunities with a degree in Health, Wellness & Human Performance include teaching, coaching, biomechanics, kinesiology, athletic training, health & fitness, sports management, and sports administration.
Program Chair, Head Softball Coach

Aaron Mullens is the Head Softball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Murray State College as well as the Chair of the College’s Health and Wellness Department. Mullens teaches courses in First Aid and Safety: Issues Awareness. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish education and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Mullens, an avid New York Yankees and Oklahoma Sooners fan, and his wife Cassie have a three year old son, Jullian.
