NRA Summer Program
Because of COVID-19 and it's complications, we do not know what the future holds for the summer of 2021; however, we are hopeful that we will continue with the NRA program. If we are able to run the program for the summer of 2021, the schedule will closely resemble what should have been the 2020 summer schedule below.
Murray State College, in cooperation with the National Rifle Association, began offering gunsmithing and law enforcement armorer schools in the summer of 1994. The school offers courses in repair & function of rifles, auto pistols, revolvers, and shotguns. Other classes include bluing, re-barreling, alternative finishes, stock repair and refinishing, and more. This is a six week program and these classes are not credited at this time. Each student receives a certificate for each class attended.
All classes range from four to five days. Each class will run Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm daily. Please fill out registration form and choose one (1) class per week. It is up to the individual on what class to take each week. It is not required to take a class every week.
If your contact information has changed or new contacts, please send us updated information (address, phone, email) so we can up-date our mailing list.
