What is Murray State College?
MSC is a two-year college with a rich history in Southern Oklahoma. The College was established in 1908 and has grown into an institution that serves thousands of students each year. The MSC service area covers ten counties in southern Oklahoma: Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc.
Where is Murray State College?
The main MSC campus is located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. MSC also offers classes at the University Center of Southern Oklahoma in Ardmore, Oklahoma. In truth, MSC is wherever you are! With online classes, you can attend MSC wherever and whenever it’s convenient for you.
When are classes offered?
Murray State College has three regular semesters in an academic year: Summer, Fall, and Spring. There are also concentrated courses for students who want to complete classes in a shorter period of time. These sessions include: Intersession Classes between the regulars semesters, 6-week and 8-week sessions during the Fall and Spring Semesters, and 4-week sessions during the Summer Semester.

How much does it cost to attend MSC?
You can use the Cost of Attending calculator to determine how much it will cost to attend MSC. If you haven’t already, you should fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if you qualify for Financial Aid. There are also several scholarships available at MSC.

How do I get started?
If you haven’t applied to Murray State College, you will need to start there. You can apply right at the top of this page. Just look for the red "Apply Now" button. You can also contact the Registrar’s Office if you need help with the application process.
How do I enroll?
Once you are ready to start your journey at MSC, you will need to enroll in classes. Get started by contacting the Academic Advisement Office.

High school students can get a jump-start on college and attend classes at MSC.
Reach Higher Program
If you have completed at least 18 hours of college, but never completed your degree…you may qualify for the Reach Higher Program. Reach Higher is a state-wide program designed for working adults to help them complete their degree.
Student Support Services
Student Support Services is a federally funded program designed to improve retention and graduation rates of at-risk students through advisement, counseling, workshops and transfer assistance. Participants must meet eligibility requirements.
MSC has two housing options on the Tishomingo campus. The Aggie Suites is an apartment-style living option, while McKee Hall is a more traditional dormitory.
MSC offers a traditional Dining Hall and a snack bar (The Grind).
You will want to enrich your college experience by joining one of the several Student Clubs and Organizations on campus.
