  • Restraint and safe handling
  • Use blood pressure monitor
  • Recognize and record daily changes in hospitalized patients
  • Use of Pulse Oximeter
  • Daily feeding and kennel care
  • Sub Q, IM and IV injections
  • Bathe and groom patients
  • Pedicures
  • Recognize variations from normal
  • Admit patients
  • Obtain histories
  • Physical exam, Temperature, Pulse Respiration
  • Render emergency first aid
  • Render treatment as prescribed
  • Dental prophylaxis
  • Set up & run EKG machine
  • Use of oto/ophthalmoscope
  • Familiar with common diseases and zoonoses
