The Murray State College Athletics Program offers women's & men's basketball, women's & men's golf, women's & men's soccer, softball & baseball. 

The MSC basketball teams compete in Region 2 - Division 1 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).  The MSC golf, softball, and baseball teams compete in Region 2 - Division II of the NJCAA. The MSC soccer teams compete in Region 2-Division III.

Murray State College Softball Ranked in Academic Top 20 Nationwide


Murray State College softball has been ranked as one of the top 20 teams of 2015-16 in the category of academic excellence. When team grade-point averages (GPA) were submitted to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, MSC tied for 17th place nationally with an overall 3.31 team GPA.

Murray State College Softball Announces Camp for Students in Grades Nine-12


Murray State College Softball will host a camp from 1-5 p.m. for high school students in grades nine (9th) through 12 on Sunday, October 9, 2016. The cost is $45 and all participants must preregister. Check in for the camp begins at 12:30 p.m. at the softball field.

Murray State College Softball Announces Camps for Elementary and Secondary Students


Murray State College will host a free softball camp for students in grades two (2nd) through six (6th) on Sunday, September 25, at the Murray State College softball field from 2-5 p.m. Participants may check in at the softball field beginning at 1:30 p.m. Participants must preregister by printing a registration form on the MSC website at, completing and mailing to Coach Marie Stone. There is no charge for this camp.

MSC Women’s Golf Team Dominates in Southwestern Christian Invite


The Murray State College Women’s Golfer Beth Acey’s 72-70 (-2) clenched first place in the Southwestern Christian Invite on September 7.

MSC Golfers Finish in Top 20 of U.C. Ferguson Classic


In the first tournament of the fall season, Murray State College golfers Davis Farnell and Alistair Snowdon finished in the top 20 of more than 70 golfers in the U.C. Ferguson Classic hosted by Oklahoma City University on September 7.
