Vision

Murray State College has a student-centered campus and provides the academic and support services that result in maximum retention and graduation rates. Our AAS graduates have well-paid careers.  We receive recognition for the excellent preparation of our AA and AS graduates by receiving institutions.

Murray State College is committed to providing resources to promote global awareness, life skills, and the accommodation of community groups.  We are adaptive to the changing communities of learners and continuously increase student satisfaction.  Our institution is committed to the promotion of the arts, economic development, and lifelong learning, which fosters the intellectual climate in southern Oklahoma.

Murray State College uses its resources to provide improved access to technology for students.  This includes a Wi-Fi secure campus, improved library resource center, and laptops for student use.  MSC implements a master plan for multiple campuses, utilizing technology to bring online instruction to the service area.  MSC provides students the knowledge to use online resources and succeed at online offerings.  Among other achievements, MSC has efficient methods of communication and documentation, an online bookstore, and an energy-efficient campus.

The administration’s increased communication, staffing, provision of needed resources (equipment and materials), and employee recognition (including increased compensation) improves employee satisfaction at MSC.

Qualified faculty are involved in ongoing training via up-to-date instructional resources, which provide innovative programs meeting community needs.  Our students are well-prepared for life/career/educational choices.
