Bingo Benefit planned for November 15, 2018
The Murray State College Foundation will host a benefit bingo event beginning at 6 p.m. on November 15, 2018 at the Johnston County Fair Barn to raise funds for families in need during the holiday season. Dinner tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
The event is organized by MSC President’s Scholar Program students, NICHE students and members of the 2018 Leadership Class. Bingo games will begin after dinner, and guests are invited to make donations to play for prizes.
“Friends from Tishomingo and beyond have always come out to show their support for the bingo benefit, and we’re hoping to make the holidays more special for those who need our help. It’s a win-win evening with good friends and good food to benefit families in our communities,” said MSC President Joy McDaniel.
When the event began six years ago, proceeds were enough to provide Christmas dinners for three families. Recent events have raised enough money to provide dinners for 15-20 families, gifts for their children, and blessing bags filled with necessities for the homeless.For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the MSC Foundation at 580-387-7103.
